I felt like it was time to write about subjects that are lighter in nature. Pets, adventures and all of the things that make life fun. A little bit of stroytelling mixed with some reminders of exactly what we fight for.
The proposal involved a stuffed dog, a ring, and a complete lack of planning. Twenty years later, we’re still here. This is the story of a perfectly imperfect marriage that endured laughter, layoffs, cancer, and everything in between.
Apparently, I’ve been a little “quiet” lately.
That hasn’t gone completely unnoticed… and yeah, it’s been a bit of a stretch health-wise. But I covered that elsewhere. Today, I just want to tell a story.
We recently celebrated Elphie’s first “Gotcha Day,” and at the same time, our cat Mo quietly turned 16. If you knew how his story started, you’d understand why that number means a lot to us.
We were celebrating both on a camping trip… and the trip home?
